Just to give you guys a bit of a scope of the scale of this thing: I just planned out all the quest chapters, and there are 31 chapters. All this has really made me want to make the pack even more, but just be warned, it might be another week until there is a beta, and its looking like at least a month until the official release. TL DR: New modpack that teaches you how to use various mods.ĮDIT: Wow guys! I didn't think this would get much attention. So for now, thank you for reading, and look forward to Learning Curve! I do not promise I will put them in, and even if I agree to put them in, I don't promise it will be soon, but I would still love suggestions. I am also planning this modpack to be expandable, so if there are any mods that you don't see here, please suggest them. MineFactory Reloaded by skyboy026, powercrystalsĪs of now, the pack has been accepted as a private pack on the FTB launcher, and I am in the process of making the quests. Hardcore Questing Mode by lorddusk, Newcastlegeek, Vswe Here is the complete mod list for the pack, mods that are italicized have their own quest line, mods that are italicized and bold, have both a basic, and advanced quest line.īuildcraft by CovertJaguar, SirSengir, Krapht, cpw, spacetoad It might not make you a master of the mod, but you will walk away knowing the basics, and maybe even a few tricks you might not pick up from just reading a wiki. I, along with a good friend of mine, am making every quest line as in depth, and informative as possible. I have selected a few of the most popular mods, and some relatively unknown, or new mods on the minecraft modding scene. This mod pack is to try and get people to step out of their comfort zones by removing the "I don't use x mod because I've only used y mod, so I just won't learn x." Ideally, you would only use mechanics, and blocks, from the mod when doing the quests for that mod, otherwise you aren't really learning all the mod has to offer on it's own. You start out with the basic quest line for every major mod in the pack open, and you can chose which ones you want to do, and which ones you chose to ignore. There is no pre-set world, and no pre set way to play, only quest lines that walk you through each mod individually. I have made it completely open ended, so you can play how you like. Learning Curve is a mod pack designed to teach you the basics, and then the more advanced, features of a mod. Here is a quick run down of what the mode pack will be: Well, after discussing it with some of you in the comments of that post, and discussing it with some friends of mine, I have decided to go through with my idea and create this mod pack. Hello everyone, you might remember my post from a few days ago about an idea for a mod pack I had.
